Benjamin H. Knox

Benjamin is currently a student in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington pursuing a double-major in Finance and International Business and a minor in Japanese language studies. Benjamin visited Japan during the summer of 2007 with his father, Noel, and the official Fort Wayne Sister Cities delegation for the 30th anniversary of Fort Wayne’s relationship with the city of Takaoka. He plans on returning to study abroad in Makuhari, Japan for a semester in the spring of 2009.


Noel H. Knox
Noel works as an advisor in investment management and trust services with Monarch Capital Management, Inc. in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Noel is the treasurer of Fort Wayne Sister Cities International, Inc. and and worked on the first two Fort Wayne Japanese Cherry Blossom Festivals. He received a JD and a MBA from Indiana University. Noel also did undergraduate and graduate work in Japanese, Chinese, and East Asian Studies. Approximately thirty years ago, he taught english, studied, and lived in Japan for a combined period of two and a half years.
